Your responsibilities
- Protect data: Do not paste real names, case numbers, locations, or donor details into chat, worksheets, or any AI tool during the series.
- Verify before action: Classroom decisions do not authorize operational use. A named approver at your organization must approve real work.
- Speak up: If you cannot access breakouts, captions, or materials, tell the host before Session 1.
- Safeguarding: If you need to discuss a disclosure of harm or child protection concern, contact your organization’s focal point. Facilitators will not investigate in plenary.
Assessment
- Before Session 1: Pre-assessment (Kirkpatrick level 2 learning; performance scenarios plus short confidence items)
- After Session 3: Post-assessment (different examples, same skills)
- After each session: Optional session evaluation (Kirkpatrick level 1 reaction)
- About 30 days after the series: Optional transfer follow-up (Kirkpatrick level 3 behaviour, self-reported)
- During sessions: Worksheets scored with a four-point rubric
- Results are reported in aggregate. Small groups (15 to 40) cannot support reliable subgroup analysis. Level 4 (organizational results) is outside this kit’s scope.
Materials you will receive
- Session worksheets and case text (HTML and PDF)
- Data-responsibility checklist
- Transparency card template
- Skills rubric (for transparency)
- Links to references
After the series
- Try one screening or verification step on an approved, low-risk task at work
- Bring de-identified questions to the clinic
- If your organization adapts this kit, affected-community representatives should be involved in that adaptation process (see AAP design note)
