Session 2 facilitation tips
No AI account route (default)
All outputs are pre-supplied on the worksheet. Participants never need to log into an AI tool.
Optional live-tool lab
Organizations with a written approved tool may use the live-tool lab route. Synthetic data only. Participants without accounts stay on the pre-supplied route.
Low-bandwidth
- Send Case 2 source and AI summary as plain text files before the session
- Synchronous route: phone plus chat; no breakouts if unstable; co-host collects typed answers
- Async pair work only when live join is impossible: partners comment within 48 hours, debrief live
Common confusions
- “I’ll fix the prompt and rerun” in classroom: OK for learning; at work requires approved tool and data rules
- Rounding 31% to 30% is not the same error as inventing 78%
- Managers skipping exercise: Insist on workflow decision; it is often the highest-value output
Accessibility
- Source-check table works in Word, Google Docs, or paper
- Color is not used to mark supported/contradicted; words only
Adaptation after Session 1
If diagnostic showed weak source-check skills, extend group exercise by 5 minutes and shorten prompt pair work.
